Will this leave a white cast?
All the formulas here are mineral rather than chemical, so some residue is normal, that's how zinc oxide and titanium dioxide work. Odyskin's SPF 30 and tinted stick are formulated to minimise it, but a visible cast is more likely with heavier layering or on deeper skin tones. Rub in well and give it a minute to properly absorb.
Is this actually reef-safe?
Yes, across the board. Evolve and UpCircle both use non-nano zinc oxide specifically because it doesn't harm coral reefs, and Odyskin's formulas are mineral-only for the same reason.
Can I wear this under makeup, or does it need its own step?
Evolve's Climate Defence Cream and UpCircle's SPF 25 are both built to double as a daily moisturiser, so they slot in before makeup like any other cream. Odyskin's tinted stick works over or under makeup for touch-ups on the nose, ears and hairline, the spots a normal sunscreen usually misses.
Is there anything for after sun exposure?
Yes, Odyskin's Natural After-Sun, aloe vera and shea butter, for when skin's had enough for one day.
