Why it's BRiMM

We've chosen Origin Coffee's Sail Ship Filter Coffee for its exceptional flavour, ethical sourcing, and innovative environmental practices. This coffee offers a smooth profile with mellow notes of milk chocolate, Brazil nut, and raisin, meticulously roasted to suit filter brewing methods. The beans are sourced from the Menezes Ribeiro family farm in Brazil's Mogiana region, known for its ideal growing conditions and commitment to quality. What sets Sail Ship apart is its transportation method: the coffee is shipped by sail across the Atlantic Ocean, reducing carbon emissions by four times compared to traditional diesel-powered sea freight.

How to use

To brew Sail Ship Filter Coffee, use 16–18g of coarsely ground coffee per 250ml of filtered water. Ideal brewing methods include V60, Chemex, or a classic drip filter. For V60, pour water in a slow, circular motion, allowing the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds before continuing to pour evenly. Adjust grind size and water temperature (around 92°C) to fine-tune extraction and achieve a balanced cup.
