Verden's Arborealist Hand & Body Balm is a thick, absorbing body moisturiser with a velvet finish, not a lightweight lotion but something more purposeful, enriched with shea butter, chia seed oil and oat extract for skin that needs real hydration.
It carries the same Arborealist fragrance as the wash, that deep, woody, smoky-green blend of cedarwood, geranium and patchouli, so the scent layers and stays. Apply to damp skin after the shower for maximum absorption. 99% post-consumer recycled bottle. Made in the UK.

Why it's BRiMM
Most body balms promise moisture and deliver something that vanishes by mid-morning. The Arborealist Balm is built differently, a shea butter and chia seed oil formula dense enough to last but refined enough to absorb into a velvet finish that sits on the skin without any heaviness or residue.
The Arborealist fragrance is the real reason it stays with you, though. It smells like damp earth and warm wood smoke, the air inside a pine forest just after it has rained, with something floral and slightly sweet underneath that deepens on warm skin as the day goes on rather than fading.
Arabella Preston and Charlotte Semler created Verden after Votary because they wanted the everyday things, hand wash, body balm, to carry the same quality and intention as high-end skincare.
This launched at Liberty London in 2021 and it is still the product that explains why the brand belongs there.
How to use
How to use
Use as a body moisturiser after the shower or as a hand balm throughout the day.
Apply a generous amount to clean, damp skin immediately after bathing for maximum absorption.
Massage in circular motions until fully absorbed.
Pay particular attention to elbows, knees and heels.
For best results, pair with the Verden Arborealist Hand & Body Wash to layer the scent.
