Herbanum smells like a walled herb garden on a warm morning, fresh and green with the sharpness of lavandin and a cool menthol edge, it filling a room and your senses in a joyful way.
Charlotte Semler and Arabella Preston built Verden after Votary around the idea that 100% natural fragrance could carry the same depth and staying power as fine perfumery, and Herbanum is the gentler side of that ambition. The wax is a rapeseed and coconut blend for a clean, steady burn. Stocked at Liberty London. The scent stays in the room long after the flame is out, and people tend to ask about it.
How to use
How to use
Light in the kitchen, home office, or any room where you want presence without heaviness.
On first burn, allow the entire top wax layer to melt to the edge of the vessel to prevent tunnelling.
Burn in a well-ventilated room, away from draughts.
Trim the wick to 5mm before each re-light.
After extinguishing, centre and straighten the wick.
Never leave a lit candle unattended.
The glass vessel can be cleaned and repurposed after use.

Fresh, botanical and a little surprising. Verden's Herbanum Scented Candle burns the purifying essence of wild herbs and grasses into a room, a 100% natural fragrance with the clarity of a kitchen garden first thing in the morning, cool and green with a thread of menthol underneath.
The wax is a rapeseed and coconut blend, completely free of paraffin, soy, palm and beeswax. Lead-free wick. Up to 40 hours burn time.
Clear glass vessel, recyclable, housed in a recycled card box. Made in the UK.
