About this product
Bright, clean and gently leafy, with an almond sweetness that lingers after each sip. The liquor brews a pale, clear green. It is lighter and more delicate than most bagged green teas, which tend to brew bitter and grassy. The key is the lower water temperature and shorter brew time: 75°C and two minutes gives you the sweetness without the astringency.
The tea bags are Soilon corn starch, fully compostable including the string and tag. Certified plastic-free by A Plastic Planet since 2019. Outer box is recyclable cardboard.

Why it's BRiMM
Why it's BRiMM
Jade Tips is a Mao Jian green tea grown in the Bai Yun mountains in Hunan, China. Bai Yun translates as White Cloud, and the altitude and mist there produce a tea with a distinctive clean, fresh character and a natural almond sweetness you don't get from lowland-grown greens. It won a Great Taste Award in 2024.
Good & Proper sources it through the same direct relationships they maintain across 13 growing regions worldwide, paying above Fairtrade prices. Green tea is the category where leaf quality shows most, because there's nowhere to hide. B Corp certified brand with a score of 97.1, one of the highest of any UK food or drink company.
