Recreating this traditional masala chai, the everyday sweet, milky spiced tea of India, Steenbergs organic masala chai is a classic tea blend and is based on the recipe we love to make for ourselves on a cold, blustery day, especially if we've got soaked on a walk. It's so warming and the spices seem to lift the strong tea. This is an organic spice mix. If you are adding this spice mix to a tea it will depend on strength of spice preference and what your base tea is, but I would start with a half teaspoon as a rough guide per cup of water and tea. You can also add the spice mix to a tea infuser with the tea.

To make a cup of chai tea, mix:

1/2 a teaspoon of chai masala spice blend

1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of milk

Add sugar or sweetener of your choice to taste
