Marine Facial Cleanser
Marine Facial Cleanser
A gentle daily cleanser that leaves skin clean, not tight. Seaweed and camellia oil, in fully compostable packaging.
100ml
About this product
It applies with very little — a pea-sized amount spreads across the face easily, and rinses clean without leaving anything behind. Skin feels settled, not stripped or reactive.
The formula centres on bladderwrack, the brown seaweed Dulcie harvest from a Jurassic chalk reef off the Margate coast. It is one of the most antioxidant-rich seaweeds available and has been used in skincare for its ability to calm and restore. Camellia seed oil, pressed from the seeds of the tea plant, brings lightweight moisture and oleic acid, the kind that sinks in rather than sitting on top. Aloe vera keeps everything calm on contact.
The packaging is 100% home-compostable — both bottle and cap.

Why it's BRiMM
Why it's BRiMM
The tightness that follows cleansing is not a sign of clean skin. It is a sign that the formula stripped more than it needed to. Dulcie's Marine Facial Cleanser is built around bladderwrack extract and camellia seed oil — ingredients that clean without disturbing the skin's moisture balance.
We chose it partly because of the packaging: the bottle and the cap are both home-compostable.

About This Brand
dulcie (Formerly Known As Haeckels) champions nature and tackles waste. Their mission: solve the waste problem by utilizing natural waste in products and offering recyclable/compostable packaging.
Seaweed, hand-picked in Margate, UK, forms their product base. It’s a hydrating, vitamin-rich, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory powerhouse, ethically harvested under license.
Innovation drives them. Globally distributed, they uphold an "ocean first" philosophy; every action has purpose.
They innovate with responsible, utility-driven packaging. Skin, bath, and body products are now in 100% home-compostable Vivomer, biodegrading within a year. They've eliminated most secondary packaging and added QR codes for reuse/compost instructions.
Vivomer packaging is dishwasher-safe for reuse or can be returned via pre-paid postage for reuse/composting at their farm, contributing to community food growth. They’re proud 88% of their packaging is compostable/refillable, aiming for 95%+ by early 2025.
Pumps and pipettes aren't compostable; please remove them. Pumps are monoplastic and recyclable.
