About this product

Big, burgundy-coloured beans with a rich, savoury depth that works in bold dishes. They hold their shape through cooking and have a creamy interior that standard kidney beans cannot match.

Use them as the base for a red wine ragu, scatter through a roasted kale and feta salad, or try them in an nduja and mozzarella bake. The stock is worth keeping for sauces and stews. 570g jar, 500g drained.

Why it's BRiMM

If your only experience of kidney beans is the mushy, chalky ones from a tin, these will change your mind. They are an heirloom variety, bigger and creamier than anything on a supermarket shelf, with a deeply savoury, almost meaty flavour that holds up against strong sauces and spices.

Slow-cooked in small batches with just water and salt. Great Taste Award winner. No additives, no preservatives, just joy.

About This Brand

This British female-founded food brand prioritises sustainability from farm to packaging. They use single-origin, regeneratively farmed beans, sourced locally when possible. Their packaging is entirely plastic-free and recyclable/compostable. Slow-cooked and jarred, their beans offer extended preservation.
