About this product

A good gift for someone who already cares about coffee, and a useful way to make the next few weekends a bit more interesting.

This giftset includes three of Cornwall-based Origin Coffee's fantastic whole bean offerings, each weighing 250g. Here's what you can expect:

Das Almas: Bold, rich Brazilian single origin with chocolate, caramel sweetness and mellow acidity, roasted in small batches at Origin’s low-energy Porthleven roastery.

Hamararo: Bright, citric Ethiopian single origin from Sidama with a clean, light body that shines black, roasted for clarity and precision.

Pathfinder: Sweet, fruit-forward espresso blend with cranberry, pink grapefruit and dark chocolate notes, tasting jammy and vibrant every time.

Expect a proper spread of profiles rather than three versions of the same thing. Smooth and balanced, bright and clean, then sweeter and more fruit-forward with cranberry, pink grapefruit and dark chocolate notes.

Why it's BRiMM

Good coffee people are hard to buy for. They usually know what they like, which is exactly why a tasting flight works.

This set brings together three different Origin whole bean coffees, each with its own profile. It is enough structure to feel curated, but not so much that it becomes a coffee lesson.

Origin was founded in Cornwall in 2004 and is now one of the UK’s most respected speciality roasters. B Corp certified, Queen’s Award-winning and still properly focused on direct trade.

How to use

- Grind fresh, just before brewing.
- For filter, start with 15g coffee to 250g water at around 92-96°C.
- For cafetière, go a little coarser and brew for four minutes.
- Try each bag the same way first, then adjust from there.
