Game changeing creative director

Founder and Creative Director of AKYN. The former Creative Director of Mother of Pearl, Amy Powney is a UK-based fashion designer and activist living in London, star of an award-nominated documentary and recipient of the British Fashion Council /Vogue Designer Fashion Fund.

Anna Foster

Sustainable denim pioneer

Founder and Creative Director of pioneering sustainable denim brand E.L.V. DENIM. Prior to founding the brand Anna was a fashion editor for twenty years at publications such as Exit, and i-D Magazine. Anna didn’t understand why the denim industry was producing 4bn pairs of jeans a year from virgin fibres. She decided to rework existing jeans into new modern, sophisticated styles.

Joycelyn Longdon

Author, academic and activist

Joycelyn Longdon is an award-winning environmental justice technologist, writer, and educator. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, where her research focuses on justice-led conservation technologies for monitoring biodiversity with local communities in Ghana. Longdon is the founder of ClimateInColour, an influential platform making climate science more accessible and diverse. She was the 2022 Emerging Designer London Design Medal winner, featured in British Vogue’s ‘Forces for Change’ issue, and is recognized as a leading voice in climate justice and technology

Mark Shayler

Founding partner of The Do Lectures

Thinker. Doer. Creator. Speaker. Author. Mark helps companies large and small with innovation and sustainability, saving them shed loads (technical term) of carbon and money (over £100m to date). He is also a founding partner of the legendary ‘Do Lectures’, a series of inspirational talks, workshops and events designed to spark positive change

Orsola de Castro

Sustainable fashion activist

Orsola de Castro is an internationally recognized leader in sustainable fashion, known for her pioneering work in upcycling and industry activism. She founded the upcycling label From Somewhere and co-founded Estethica at London Fashion Week. In 2013, she launched Fashion Revolution, now the world’s largest fashion activism movement, and is the author of Loved Clothes Last.
